How the Sandwhich
Consumed Britain
Magazine
2022
Strip a sandwich down to its essence and its all about structure - two slices holding everything together. A frame with all the ingredients in between. This editorial brief was about creating a series of illustrations to tell the story of the sandwich’s history in Britain. The concept naturally led to one visual route: structured, clean vector artwork. Oversimplified shapes and crisp lines brought the narrative to life. Weaving together unmistakable British iconography - from the River Thames to the Royal Guard. With added classic sandwich ingredients the result is a playful yet precise form of storytelling that feels both fresh and unmistakably British.

2022
A photographic view and exploration of people, places and things during my life in South Africa. Often overlooked glimpses, captured in a moment. Layers and layers of texture and resemblance. The duality of blue and white, reducing a moment to contours and shape. Combining digital photography with traditional printmaking. A series rather close to my heart.
Alcohol. Our Love Hate Relationship

Exploring infographics in a more tactile collage style with a sensitive topic. The contrast in the tactile execution and the thought provoking content is what brings this project to life. What is the toll on our society and our relationship with Alcohol.

2021-Current day
A series about self reflection, looking back at behaviour and thoughts. Finding raw artistic expression within it. An oversimplification of thought. Basic materials and minimal colours allow for just that. From A2 to postcard. A series of works that will forever be in the making, a series of personal expression. A ten minute pause, print and ponder.
